Nordic Bank Nordea Allows Customers to Trade Bitcoin-Pegged Synthetic ETP
BlockBeats News, October 30th, Nordic bank Nordea Bank announced that it will offer customers a Bitcoin-backed Exchange-Traded Product (ETP). Nordea has previously maintained a cautious stance on cryptocurrency and stated that as the regulatory environment for cryptocurrencies in Europe matures, and the demand for virtual currencies and cryptocurrencies in the Nordic region continues to grow, it has decided to allow customers to trade cryptocurrency-related products on its platform.
Nordea will allow customers to trade a cryptocurrency-related product developed by an external company on its platform. This new product, developed by CoinShares, will be launched on the Nordea Bank platform in December 2025.
